The Valdosta State University chapter of NAfMEC hosted a kickball tournament where they challenged numerous other musical organizations on campus. The Valdosta State Chapters of NAfMEC, Phi Mu Alpha, Sigma Alpha Iota, Tau Beta Sigma, as well as the American Choral Directors Association competed against each other for the bragging rights of kickball champions. Not only was this a fun activity through which all of the organizations involved bonded, but every organization donated over 10 canned goods to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Valdosta in order to participate.

On the evening of October 9th, the brothers of Zeta Gamma raised their voices in singing to the campus of Valdosta State University. The brothers traveled around campus singing to a multitude of students on campus with only one aim, and that was to brighten their day.

The brothers of Zeta Gamma were pleased to serve members of the Blazin’ Brigade Marching Band during  their annual band camp. The brothers served over 150 members including band members, color guard members, band staff, and all of the extra instructors that help make the Blazin’ Brigade run. This was the chapters special treat to the marching band for a week full of hard work and dedication.

The brothers of the Zeta Gamma chapter of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia will be holding our annual fall rush on the week of August 25, 2014. The events held during rush week are geared towards you! This is your chance to come and fellowship with men of the fraternity, get your questions answered and just have an overall good time. The events are as follows:

August 25, 2014 – “Meet and Greet with the Sinfonians” in Library Room 1480 at 8:00 pm

August 26, 2014 – “Outdoor Recreational Activity” on the Fine Arts Lawn at 7:30 pm

August 27, 2014 – “An Evening of American Music” in the Fine Arts Choir Room at 7:30 pm

August 28, 2014 – “Smoker and Cookout” at 1608 Garland Place, Valdosta GA, 31602 at 7:30 pm

August 29, 2014 – “Formal Informational” in Library Room 1160 at 7:30 pm
