Kicking for a Cause
The Valdosta State University chapter of NAfMEC hosted a kickball tournament where they challenged numerous other musical organizations on campus. The Valdosta State Chapters of NAfMEC, Phi Mu Alpha, Sigma Alpha Iota, Tau Beta Sigma, as well as the American Choral Directors Association competed against each other for the bragging rights of kickball champions. Not only was this a fun activity through which all of the organizations involved bonded, but every organization donated over 10 canned goods to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Valdosta in order to participate.
